Panel 2: "Happy Public Domain Day! We're celebrating the art of 1929."
Panel 3: "Here in studio, Popeye the Sailor. 95 years after your first appearance, are you a newly-expired copyright?" Popeye says "Ja' think I'm a cowboy?"
Panel 4: Kate continues: "From Q1-Q4, corporate bro-ligarchs laysiege to the creative arts. But once per year, a gift from artists past." She holds up the sheet music for "Tiptoe through the Tulips."
Panel 5: "They may take our blood, our sweat, and our tears to power their plagiarism engines in the largest intellectual property theft in history—"
Panel 6: "But they'll have to pry Salvador Dali's old pervy art from our dead, public hands." Kate fiercely grabs onto the 1929 paintings, "Illumined Pleasures," "The Accommodations of Desire," and" The Great Masturbator."
