Panel 1: Nickels, paint spattered all over his shirt, spraypaints "Evolve or Die!" on a large wall. Beatrix, a poet, admires the lettering.
Panel 2: While changing his shirt, Nickels says "Change is everything. There is no perfection, only movement." Beatrix says "I dig it."
Panel 3: Both of them are now crabs. Crab Nickels says "Unless we've achieved carcinization—where we all evolve into crabs." Crab Beatrix yells "Cancer Culture is out of control!"
